English as a Second Language
Classes (ESL)
Mondays and Wednesdays
12:30 pm – 3:00 pm
Tuesdays and Thursdays
9:30 am – 12:00 pm
Tuesdays and Thursdays
6:30pm – 8:00 pm
ESL is a year-round program offered to adults at no charge.
The classes provide practice in reading, writing, and conversation to improve the skills needed for daily interactions in English such as:
Getting a job
Workplace etiquette
Shopping
Helping children with homework
Parent-teacher conferences
Visiting the doctor
Meeting new people
Concurrent early childhood education is available during the morning and afternoon English classes for those enrolled in the Family Literacy program.
